Little girls are idolizing the characters on these shows. There is a slow evolution occuring where desires to attend college and wanting to be doctors, lawyers, teachers, and nurses is slowing dissipating. Little Angela wants to be a reality show star because the fame and forture is so much easier this way. She wants to be the next Nene Leakes or Kim Kardashian and will sell her soul to the devil in order to have this fame. It is imperative for parents to instill early, hard, and consistently the positive influence of encouragement and strong moral values. Due to the fact that blacks have been oppressed for so long; the ones who choose to use the vehicle of success as they see it, via a reality show, opt to have the quick dollars to quench a very long held thirst to get ahead. Elizabeth Moore I don't like reality shows, they are not real because people just want their 15 min. and don't show who they really are in 'real life'. Give me a great comedy or mystery anytime.
